The Salvation Army Partner with mhance to Drive Digital Transformation
mhance, a leading Microsoft Solutions Partner, winner of the Microsoft Global Nonprofit Partner of the Year 2023 and trusted supplier to the nonprofit sector is proud to announce that it has been selected by The Salvation Army to enhance the charity’s digital capabilities using Microsoft technology. This collaboration aims to streamline operations, optimise fundraising efforts, and support The Salvation Army’s long-term growth and impact.
mhance will leverage its deep sector experience to implement a scalable, future-proof system tailored to The Salvation Army’s needs. By adopting Microsoft Dynamics 365 for nonprofits and extending it to accommodate UK and Ireland-specific requirements - including Gift Aid, Tax Efficient Giving, and integrations with third party donation platforms - The Salvation Army will enhance its ability to engage donors and optimise fundraising operations.
The new CRM system will replace The Salvation Army’s legacy platform, which has been in place for over eight years, and is designed to improve data visibility, streamline processes, and provide enhanced reporting capabilities to better support fundraising campaigns and financial planning.
Key features of the new system include:
Improved Data Management
Consolidating donor records into Microsoft Fabric, to improve segmentation and supporter engagement.
Automation
Reducing reliance on manual processes by implementing automated workflows for tasks such as Gift Aid claims, donation processing, and supporter communications.
Enhanced Reporting and Analytics
Leveraging Power BI to provide detailed insights into campaign performance, fundraising ROI, and supporter trends.
Flexible Integration
Enabling seamless connections to third-party tools for marketing campaigns and donor communications.
Future Growth
mhance will also deploy a separate Azure environment to handle long-running processes, ensuring the Microsoft Dataverse is optimised for transactional efficiency. This approach will support The Salvation Army in managing large-scale fundraising and donor engagement activities without system performance constraints.
This partnership reflects mhance’s unwavering commitment to the nonprofit sector, ensuring organisations have access to innovative solutions that support their mission effectively now and into the future.
“We are excited to partner with mhance to enhance our digital capabilities. Their expertise in nonprofit technology and Microsoft solutions will enable us to improve our operational efficiency and donor engagement.”
